Giraffe . . .

My first attempt at a giraffe. . .I think it is adorable and couldn't wait to post up the pictures, it is a present for Tayla my cousin for her first birthday! 

The pattern is by Sasha Pokrass , I was a bit nervous making this but I am very pleased with the results . . . .now to make the Elephant!

Feeling Christmasy

Been at a crash course in ceramics for the past few days, very exciting! Here is a peek at what I made, still unfinished but I'm sure you get the idea! Custom made Baubles!

New Stockist !

Very exciting news , Chelsie Alice has been taken on by a new stockist for christmas! The Truly Scrumptious Deli in Nottingham (Tollerton). I am working very hard completing the order but there is lots of exciting new stock and plenty of sneak peeks to be had ! Keep a look out for updates to come soon!

New Charity Cards

I have been busy creating a Limited Edition Collection of 4 Hand Illustrated cards to help raise money for The Labrador Rescue Trust. It is a great cause and well who doesn't love a cute lab! My cards are available to purchase through my Etsy site:

Had a busy day today, I have had my first Order from the Netherlands ! Very Exciting, Ruby will be shipped tomorrow, sad to see her go as she was one of my favourites!

I have ben pining over these beauties for weeks , They are made by the White Faux Taxidermy Company. I think I want them all! If only they were in the UK!

Panda . . .

Just finished the panda I have been working on ! It's my first attempt , I thought I would use up some of the spare pieces of mohair I have lying around. 

oops!

Made a small mistake when cutting the fabric for this fella, he is now short of an arm ! Looks like I will be ordering some more to finish this one off, he is a cutie! 

New Bear

Talulah will soon be available on Etsy, she is made from brown sugar mohair on a dark brown backing with beautiful Liberty Print paws and pads. Talulah is weighted with Steel shots and has German black glass eyes with traditional cotter pin joints to allow full animation and finished with a lilac ribbon.

Absolutely perfect. I love it and super-fast delivery even though it had to be re-made from scratch. Will be recommending to everyone I know and will be ordering again soon. Attention to detail is fab and the handmade card and necklace included was a lovely touch. Only one thing I would say is increase your prices!! Hey Guys , Happy September ! I have been very busy, I have just re-launched my Facebook page so it now says Chelsie Alice rather than my old brand name! Custom Bear

The Bear for Italy is all finished ! I hope she likes it ! This one is made with schlute viscose rather than mohair. I have not distressed the fabric as the customer did not want the vintage look However Schlute Viscose is great for distressing, dyeing and trimming, its really easy to scruff up and create that "worn" look.

Limited Edition for M.E. Association

Hey everyone, I am joining in support of my friends Joshua Lewin , Dominic Jones and Sam Hawker who are running the Robin Hood Marathon on the 30th September to raise awareness for M.E.

"I am 'running' the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham on 30th September to raise awareness and help sufferers of M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. A friend I have known since I was under a metre tall has been suffering for almost two years now and she still keeps a smile on her face. I know if she was able to, she would do all she could to help others, so I am going run, jog, walk, get her brother to carry me round and raise awareness and some money! So if you can, please spare some money to help me to helps others."
